Glastonbury is roughly 14 miles from our Berlin base, over the river and down Route 3 or across on Route 17 for the southern end. Inspections here book inside the week.
The practical scheduling note in this town is seasonal rather than geographic. Pool deck and patio work runs best in the shoulder seasons, either before the pool opens or after it closes, and hillside driveway jobs are easier once the spring runoff has passed. If you're planning a summer of using the deck, book the lift for spring rather than discovering the problem in July.
Why Slabs Move on This Terrain
On the hillside lots that make up much of west and south Glastonbury, water does the work. Runoff concentrates along driveway edges and patio perimeters, channels, and carries the base out from underneath the slab a season at a time. How long is a pool deck out of use?
Usually the same day. The polyurethane reaches load-bearing strength in 15 to 30 minutes, so foot traffic is fine before we leave. Furniture goes back the same afternoon.
